OWL VIDEO GAME PROTAGONIST
DESCRIPTION
Group independent project made using Autodesk Maya and Substance Painter. Made as part of a game named "In Somnis Veritas". The game was made as part of a game jam.

Our art style was low-poly so I had to be very efficient with my use of vertices. I modeled the owl based on the model sheet that I had received from a teammate.
​
We decided that we should also keep the textures fairly simple so, using Substance Painter, I added flat colors with simple materials to the mesh.
​
The final model ended up looking pretty cute. It really fits the aesthetic and feel of the game. It was my first time in a while modeling something low-poly, so I'm very happy with how it turned out.
