GAME BOY ADVANCE
DESCRIPTION
Independent project made using Autodesk Maya and Substance Painter.

I started work on this project with the intention of improving my hard-surface-modeling skills. First I composed a model sheet using photos of my own GBA and used them as a reference when modeling.
​
Using Substance Painter I gave the mesh a rough plastic texture, hoping to recreate the look of my own Game Boy.
​
Looking back on it, I do notice some mistakes and things I could've done differently/better. Despite that, I'm very happy with how it turned out and with how much I learned from this project.
